Based in New York City, Replicant Films provides comprehensive camera packages that empower productions to achieve their creative ambitions. Replicant Films was founded by cinematographers David Kruta and Jordan T. Parrott, who are unrelenting in their pursuit for the perfect image. Satisfied clients include Saturday Night Live, Canon, Porsche, Gillette, Mizuno, Penske, Amtrak, and Blackberry, among others.

David Kruta

An award-winning Director of Photography, David Kruta is the son of Czech political refugees whose lifetime has taken him through a variety of cultures, experiences and locations spanning the globe. David has shot short films, commercials, documentaries, fashion and music videos and feature films.  He is the visual architect behind the 2013 Sundance Competing feature film, “Concussion,” starring Robin Weigert (Deadwood) and Maggie Siff (Sons of Anarchy), and most recently was a winner in the 2014 International Cinematographer's Guild Emerging Cinematographer Awards.

Jordan T. Parrott

Jordan T. Parrott is a New York-based Cinematographer and graduate of Emerson College’s Film Program. He is a prolific narrative and commercial Director of Photography, having shot over 16 short films that have played at film festivals worldwide, including at the Beverly Hills, Pasadena, Hoboken, Brooklyn, Busan, and SoHo International Film Festivals. A recent short film, Tom in America, will premiere at the Montreal International Film Festival – the film starred Academy Award-nominees Burt Young and Sally Kirkland.

ARRI ALEXA 4:3 PLUS

The ARRI Alexa Plus 4:3 features a 4:3 Super 35 sensor and built-in licenses for high speed shooting, DNxHD recording and anamorphic de-squeeze and the full area of the sensor is used and a much higher image quality retained. In addition, the unique optical characteristics of anamorphic lenses, the magic at the heart of anamorphic cinematography,– are rendered faithfully and fully in the digital image.

Now available in rentals, the new Leica Summicron-C lenses are a cost-effective companion to their Summilux-C siblings, as comfortable on the new generation of PL mount cameras introduced lately (F5, F55, C300, C500, Epic Dragon) as they are on Alexa, F65, Epic and other camera systems.

Freefly MoVI M15

Introducing a handheld 3-axis digital stabilized camera gimbal, so advanced, it redefines the possibilities for camera movement. The MoVI M15 is a completely silent device, weighs under 5.5 pounds bare, can be operated solo, or with the help of a second "gimbal" operator with a joystick to pull off some incredible moves, and can carry a payload of 15 lbs.
